Common Bank Clerk Exam by IBPS 2011 - Common written examination (CWE)

IBPS announces schedule for Common written examination [CWE] for Recruitment in clerical cadre in 19 public sector banks.

A Common Written Examination (CWE) will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) as a pre-requisite for selection of personnel for Clerical cadre posts in the Public Sector Banks mentioned below.

Selection Procedure:
There will be a written test for selection process. It will consist of following papers:
Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language, Test of Numerical Ability, Test of General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry, Test of Computer Knowledge

Cotoff Score and CWE Score Card:
Each candidate will have to secure a minimum standardized score in each of the tests to qualify in the written examination and to be considered for vacancies in the participating banks.

IBPS will print the Score Cards for each of the qualifying candidates only and will send the same by Registered/ Speed post to each candidate at the correspondence address specified in his/ her online application.

Validity of cwe score card:

Score Cards issued by IBPS will be valid for one year from the date of issue of the Score Card. Candidates can appear in subsequent examination(s) to enhance their scores if they so desire.

Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates.
Rs.350/- for all others

Ibps bank exam 2011 for PO’s, will be conduct on 18th of September, while writing the exam, you need to follow some tips and tricks. Many students are not getting the jobs in banks, because of section cut-off. Some students, good at aptitude but not in English, then he will be rejected from the short list, so for you need to prepare for all sections, then only its possible to get your dream job in 19 banks. And also don't attempt all questions in any section, which affects your final score and as well as time waste. If you attempt all questions in any section, the other sections time will be waste and negative marks also considerable, so be careful while writing the exam.

Tips to follow for ibps bank exam 2011

1. Use shortcut tricks while  answering the questions.

2. Try to reduce using of formulas.

3. Don’t attempt all questions in any section.

4. If you don’t know the answer for particular problem, simply leave it to save the time.
